Forever Bee Pollen

Pollen is produced by the stamens of flowers (the stamen is the male reproductive organ in plants). All higher plant species, that is, those that produce flowers, no matter how small, produce pollen.

Pollen is made up of microscopic elements, pollen grains, each measuring 20 to 40 microns (0.02 mm to 0.04 mm). While foraging on flowers to extract nectar, which they will transform into honey, bees accumulate pollen on their hind legs. They form small pellets that they bring back to the hive to use as food. These pellets contain, in addition to the pollen of various plant species, enzymes. Bees produce these enzymes to dissolve the solid envelope that encloses the nutrients inside each tiny pollen grain.

Bee pollen is composed of 30 to 55% carbohydrates (sugars), 25 to 30% proteins (proteins and free amino acids), 1 to 20% lipids (fats) and, for the remainder, vitamins (mainly group B) and minerals (calcium, chlorine, copper, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, silicon, sulfur). It also contains small amounts of antioxidants and immunostimulating substances.

Pollen, collected from flowers by bees, is harvested and then placed in stainless steel containers specially designed for freeze-drying. This process allows it to preserve its freshness and quality.

Pollen, Honey (12%), anti-caking agents: fatty acids, silicon dioxide, freeze-dried royal jelly (0.03%).
